Message from the Co-Chairs

The creative business is based on ideas – bad ones, good ones and amazingly great ones.
What they all have in common is their origin - every idea no matter how profound, started with an insight and a blank slate.
Now in its 11th year, the 2012 ICE Awards will acknowledge the rapid pace at which the industry is changing and the need to ignore traditional boundaries with our creativity. The night will be a celebration of strategy, creativity, art, and craft, all meeting to form great ideas. “It’s an honour to be part of a show that puts the creativity of so many talented people and the important work they do everyday in the spotlight,” says Matthew Allen, co-chair.
“We’re really excited about this year’s ICE Awards,” says James Ingram, co-chair. “The awards are a great event to celebrate the work of Atlantic Canadian creativity. I’m thrilled to be co-chair and represent the photography field.”
The core idea of taking nothing and making it into something will be featured prominently but co-chairs Allen and Ingram are reluctant to give much more away. “All we can say is get ready for something different,” says Allen.
